This subseries comprises workshop and training session materials, correspondence, publicity, organizational records, educational and other materials related to Berzon's private practice and her career development as psychotherapist and counselor. It documents dozens of classes, workshops, seminars, training programs, presentations and research projects led by Berzon, particularly regarding interpersonal relationships, same-sex relationships, and gay and lesbian sensitivity training. Notably, this subseries documents Berzon's audiovisual therapy sessions, Encountertapes, as well as Berzon's gay sensitivity training for the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department.
