Biographical / Historical
ONE Confidential "is not just another magazine, but a privately issued newsletter for members of the corporation and staff members - those who have been generous of their time and money, so indicating their genuine interest in the corporation's works. ONE Confidential will not only keep its readers posted as to what the corporation is doing and planning, but it will also contain news items and other information not suitable for the general public, yet which seem important" (ONE Confidential, volume 1, number 1, March 1956).
Initially ONE Confidential was conceived as a way to quickly disseminate issues as they occur and so was planned with no regular publication date. However by 1959 ONE Confidential was being issued on a regular monthly schedule. ONE Confidential was originally published in a 8.5" x 11" size, but in 1964 was moved to a 5" x 8" size similar to ONE Magazine. In January 1968 ONE Confidential was recast as ONE Letter.
