Scope and Contents
The series primarily comprises newspaper and magazine clippings, but also includes journal articles, book covers and excerpts, flyers, event programs, pamphlets, manuscripts, playbills, Web site printouts, blog and listserv postings, and other materials documenting Jewish LGBT related subjects, 1977-2000. The content includes news articles; reviews of books, music, movies, plays, exhibitions, comedy shows, and special performances; advertisements; promotional material; wedding announcements; works of fiction; essays; comic strips; photographs; drawings; and event calendars. Topics include AIDS and HIV, arts and graphics, books, congregations, essays and manuscripts, events and conferences, families and children, fiction, film and video, foreign language, groups and communities, the Holocaust, holy days, Israel, marriage, merchandise, military, on being, personals and dating, politics, rabbis, sex ethics, stage, students and student groups, theological/ideological debate, and individual Web sites.
Note that duplication should be expected across the materials in the Faces Project, name files, and publications files.

Materials are arranged alphabetically by subject. Subject headings may be further divided by sleeved (materials previously collocated in binders), online sources (previously collocated online materials), various sources (online and print clippings, sleeved and loose), foreign language, and oversized.
