Scope and Contents
The series comprises clippings of those in the Jewish gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender community who have had their picture appear in print, 1966-2000. The collection documents 590+ individuals primarily through newspaper and magazine clippings, but also by books excerpts, event flyers, Web site printouts, and other materials. The content includes articles written by and about the individual; interviews; reviews of books, music, movies, plays, exhibitions, comedy shows, and special performances; biographies; advertisements; wedding announcements; obituaries; and event promotions. Note that duplication should be expected across the materials in the name files, subject files, and publications files.

Arrangement
Clippings are arranged alphabetically by last name.
General
Johnny Abush sleeved these clippings and often mounted them on heavier paper stock when warranted. When no context was visible on the clipping, he supplied article title, publication title, publisher name, city of publication, volume, issue, date, and/or page numbers.
Processing Information
Originally housed on an industrial catalogue stand holding twenty-four binders, the materials have been rehoused to archival folders and boxes.
