Subseries Scope and Content
This subseries includes Call's Grand Prix Master Reels, which he produced and edited for his gay video series, Adonis Cockplay; and Call's home movies of his vacations and community events, mostly shot in San Francisco. Many of these home movies document several events in the San Francisco and Los Angeles gay community throughout the 1970s and 1980s, including the Closet Ball, San Francisco Gay Freedom Day Parade, Groovy Guy, and Tavern Guild picnics. Also included are commercially-released gay erotic films. These films (mostly Super-8 with some Regular 8mm reels) are arranged by call number [#0001-0340.]
