This subsubseries comprises the correspondence sent and received by Dignity officers, in particular the president, secretary, treasurer, newsletter editor, and various executive aides. The topics of correspondence include internal administrative matters, the formation of new chapters, emotional and moral support for individuals, and general information about the organization. Correspondence with the Roman Catholic hierarchy can be found in the Bishops Correspondence files; letters attacking the organization, for homophobic or other reasons, can be found in the Derogatory files. The materials include foreign correspondence. The records retain their original alphabetical arrangement.
