One of his complaints was that the director, Miriam Gray, included a paid professional performance of Lucas Hoving's group in modern dance at the end of the first week's instruction, but neglected to have a similar set-up for Miller's ethnic dance group. 2 leaves.

Miller tells Hughes that he has been asked by the director of the dance institute at Illinois State University if he would like to return next summer. Miller has more comments about the institute, the director, and teaching in general, but does plan on doing it again and asks Hughes for more suggestions. He mentions that many people have recently contracted the Hong Kong flu. 2 leaves.
