This collection is comprised of the legal documents and correspondence regarding the formation of the Los Angeles Civic Light Opera Association and, later, the California Civic Light Opera Association when the LACOA merged with the San Francisco Civic Light Opera Association. Most of the materials consist of bound volumes of Board meeting minutes, by-laws, etc, chiefly of the LACOA.
