This series contains film footage in a variety of formats (including VHS, Beta-cam, digital video camera film, reel to reel video recordings, and analog video camera film) of performances with which Rudy Perez was involved. This series also contains digital reproductions of the original footage on DVDs (see "Existence and Location of Copies" note below).

In 2012, the USC Libraries created digital reproductions of most of the film footage documented in this series. Any items listed under this series with a "SPEDVD" prefix refers to a digital reproduction, stored on DVD, that can be requested for viewing. All of the SPEDVD digital reproductions are stored in box numbers 55-57 of this collection.
