He mentions that he has been applying to various foundations for financial support to assist him in returning to Ceylon to study the dances of Kandy. He feels that there is much to be learned in studying Eastern theatre, but that it takes an Occidental rather than an Oriental mind to present knowledge and information in such a way as to "aid in a greater understanding of the particular art form."
