Scope and Contents From the Collection: This collection chiefly consists of the professional papers of Japanese-American sociologist and professor Tamotsu Shibutani (1920-2004). In addition, there are photograph albums of his mother, Taka Shibutani (1892-1986), dating from the early 1900s to 1980s.
