Content Description
Neil Landreville was Peace Corps volunteer doing health work in Kimje County, North Cholla Provices, a rural farming region of Korea. He lived in Korea a total of six years in the 1970s. He painted these picures after returning home to the USA. He used traditional ink and bursh on rice paper. The paintings capture the things that were part of his daily in Korea in the 1970s. The collection of photographic prints of the paintings is accompanied by a copy of Landreville's publication, A Peace Corps volunteer remembers Korea in the 70s.
