From the Collection:

This small collection contains papers of the Korean-American Charr-Kim family, chiefly consisting of typescript drafts of "The Golden Mountain," the memoir of Korean immigrant Easurk Emsen Charr (1895-1986), as well as some of his other writings, and the memoir of his daughter Dr. Anna Charr Kim (born 1930), titled "Soup and Salad: Four Generations of Korean Americans" (1996). There is also a 1930 school diploma for Evelyn Kim Charr and photocopies of biographical articles, correspondence, and other material.
