During the early 1970s, Irvin Paik wrote several articles relating to the issues of the image of Asians depicted in American movies and television and the limited opportunities Asian Americans open to Asian Americans in those industries. As part of his research process, he interviewed a number of Asian American actors. At the same time, Paik wrote serveral stage scripts, centered around Asian themes. Contents in this series notes from his articles and interviews, original scripts and script adaptations.
