Scope and Contents
Collection consists of the production files and books of American film and television production manager, and writer Stanley Goldsmith (1904-1972). Films represented in the collection include The Hunters (1958), King of Kings (1961), Doctor Zhivago (1965), The Shoes of the Fisherman (1968), and Tora! Tora! Tora! (1970). Extensive production files for the canceled films Tai-Pan and Nine-Tiger Man are also present.

Stanley Goldsmith (1904-1972) was an American film and television production manager whose career began working in the props department at Paramount in the 1930s to being a production manager for 20th Century Fox and MGM films.
