Originally part of the Ethel Barrymore Memorial Theatre Arts Collection at the University of Southern California Library 100 Series, and was labeled 100-50.

Biographical / Historical

Howard Hughes purchased the rights to Armitage Trail’s novel Scarface, to develop the gangster film. Both the film and novel are loosely based on the life of Al Capone.
