Scope and Contents
Collection consists of photographs and scripts belonging to American actor William Powell (1892-1984). Scripts for Life with Father (1947) and Mister Roberts (1954) are housed in personalized leather portfolios.
Originally part of the Ethel Barrymore Memorial Theatre Arts Collection at the University of Southern California Library 100 Series.

William Powell (1892-1984) was an American actor and was a major player at Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. He was best known for his roles in The Thin Man (1934), and Life with Father (1947).
