Scope and Contents

This collection contains the papers and scrapbooks of actor Roger Imhof (1875-1958). Materials include a scrapbook of unidentified photographs and stills and a scrapbook of telegrams (1923) and clippings from Imhof's stage appearances; miscellaneous theater programs and copies of the New York Star, a national theatrical weekly; and play scripts written by Imhof.

Biographical / Historical

Roger Imhof (1875-1958) was an American film actor, vaudeville, burlesque, and circus performer. He appeared in films from 1932 to 1944, including "San Francisco" (1936), "Drums Along the Mohawk" (1939), "The Grapes of Wrath" (1940) and "This Gun for Hire" (1942).
