Scope and Contents
Collection consists of black and white headshots and other photographs of Hollywood actors and producers belonging to former USC professor Les Norvos. Collection includes photographs of producer Milton H. Bren and his wife Marion Newbert, actor Richard Barthelmess, and actresses Betty Grabel, Irene Dunne, and Constance Moore, among others.

Biographical / Historical
Les Norvos was a film professor at the University of Southern California in the 1950s. His courses focused on cinematic storytelling based on Sergei Eisenstein and Slavko Vorkapich’s ideas of movement, editing, and montage.
