This collection consists of scripts, storyboards, and newspaper clippings from the work of American film and television director John Frankenheimer (1930-2002). His credits include "Birdman of Alcatraz" (1962), "The Manchurian Candidate" (1962), "Black Sunday" (1977), "Ronin" (1998), "Against the Wall" (1994), "The Burning Season" (1994), "Andersonville" (1996), and "George Wallace" (1997).

Biographical / Historical

John Frankenheimer (1930-2002) was an American film and television director. His credits include "Birdman of Alcatraz" (1962), "The Manchurian Candidate" (1962), "Seven Days in May" (1964), "The Train" (1964), "Seconds" (1966), "Grand Prix" (1966), "French Connection II" (1975), "Black Sunday" (1977), "Ronin" (1998), and "Reindeer Games" (2000). Frankenheimer won four Emmy Awards for the films "Against the Wall" (1994), "The Burning Season" (1994), "Andersonville" (1996), and "George Wallace" (1997).
