Biographical / Historical

Gary Cooper (1901-1961) was an American film actor with over 80 credits during his nearly 40 year career. He began working during the silent film era and remained active through the classic Hollywood era. He won the Academy Award for Best Actor twice and was nominated an additional three times. The American Film Institute named him one of the 25 greatest male stars of classic Hollywood cinema.
