This collection consists of the papers of American burlesque comic Pinky Lee (1907-1993). These papers include scripts and budgets. Lee was the host of the children's television program "The Pinky Lee Show" in the 1950s.

Biographical / Historical
Pinky Lee, whose real name was Pincus Leff (1907-1993), was an American burlesque comic. During the 1940s he appeared on radio shows, including "Drene Time." He was the host of the children's television program "The Pinky Lee Show" in the 1950s. In 1957, Lee hosted "The Gumby Show." Lee was the uncle of the Sherman Brothers, Robert and Richard, whom he worked from time to time in the 1950s.
