Scope and Content
Series contains papers and artwork from unproduced projects with which Rick Carter was involved, including Ghost Dad (with Steve Martin); Helen of Troy: EXO, a retro-future mythological film concept of the classic story of Helen of Troy that entered pre-production in the mid-1990s; Bad Trout; and an unidentified version of Journey to the Center of the Earth.
Also included in this series are papers and artwork from The Diamond as Big as the Ritz, based on the short story of the same title by F. Scott Fitzgerald, that began production in 1998. Rick Carter was supposed to direct the movie, which was being produced by Steven Haft and Susan Adler.
