In 1965 and 1966, the Citizens Committee to Save Elysian Park were fighting two battles simultaneously: the city's proposal to build a convention center on park land, and the plans by Occidental Petroleum to drill for oil. This series contains ephemera, newsletters, and signed petitions regarding both issues at the same time.
