The Funding series is arranged alphabetically by folder title. The series includes all aspects of funding the project received in order to be completed. Included are lists of sources for funding, proposals to grant providing agencies, budgets, receipts, and invoices.

The legalities series is arranged alphabetically by folder title. It is the smallest series and contains information pertaining to PBS production cost principles and procedures, interviewees release forms, American Films Festival entrance forms, copyright law procedures, IRS tax status forms, insurance certificates, permission to use images/materials/interviews, and the book's contract.
