An emergency contingency plan developed by the California Highway Patrol in the event of a major incident resulting from the outcome of the Rodney King vs. LAPD trial. The plan is comprised of 7 phases: (1) Advance Planning; (2) Operational Readiness; (3) Tactical Alert; (4) Deployment of On-Duty Personnel; (5) Deployment of Off-Duty Personnel; (6) Deployment of Adjoining Division Personnel; and (7) Deactivation.
