Scope and Contents From the Collection: 7000.5--biographical clippings. 930 boxes (shoe box-sized) containing newspaper clippings grouped by biographical subject and arranged in alphabetical ranges of surnames. The bulk of the clippings date from the 1930s to the paper's closure in 1961. As was prevalent at the time that these files were created, women were generally referred to by their husbands' names.
