Letter thanks June and Helmut for their hospitality in making their "Paris vacation a memorable occasion." The letter goes on to talk about an upcoming exhibition of Helmut's photography at G. Ray Hawkins gallery. GH also notes, "I've been deluged with prints from the lab (for my Creative Arts, Inc. investors) since our return. So, all day I sit signing my name and numbering prints. Pretty damned monotonous -- but as Betty said, 'you never had it so easy.'"

She writes, "Hel had an idea that you might like to come to Paris in January '81 to shoot the haute couture collections for French Vogue." "Hel whooped when he heard you'd photographed Sylvia Kristal. She must be off the sauce! She gave Hel a hard time when she was on it. He tried to do a shot of her for a poster to advertise one of her films -- in a swimming pool -- but she kept swimming away to a vodka bottle she'd hidden behind a plam tree."
