Scope and Contents From the Series: This series contains research and writings from Fertig's career prior to receiving his Juris Doctor (JD) degree from UCLA in May of 1979. A small amount of autobiographical writings in this series were created after 1979, but these focus on Fertig's earlier career-- such as Fertig's manuscripts for his 1998 work titled, "Searching for Justice in Chicago."
