Veramay started her letter by telling Wright she hoped to hear back from him soon and that she loved him very much. She told him she had to take her mother to the hospital in Riverside to see a specialist but that the doctor was not sure of what illness she suffered from based off her symptoms. She told Wright that she was very busy with house duties and that he might not hear from her as often. She included a little note that she wrote while at work.

She told him that she stopped by his parents’ house to visit but no one was home. She ended the letter by telling Wright that she had taken the letter to work but that she did not have much more to write.
