This collection consists of the awards of American heiress, philanthropist, and University of Southern California alumna Katherine B. Loker (1915-2008). She donated millions to USC for buildings, improvements, and research, including The Donald P. and Katherine B. Loker Hydrocarbon Research Institute, the track and field stadium, and the USC School of Theatre.

Biographical / Historical
Katherine B. Loker (1915-2008) was an American heiress and philanthropist. Loker graduated from the University of Southern California in 1940 and was a USC trustee. She and her husband, Donald Loker, donated to California State University, Dominguez Hills, Harvard University, the University of Southern California, the California Museum of Science and Industry, the California Hospital Medical Center, the Donald P. Loker Cancer Treatment Center, the Los Angeles Music Center, and the Richard Nixon Library. Loker was one of the daughters of the founder of the company Starkist.
