Ralph La Porte papers
Abstract
William Ralph La Porte ("Ralph") was a professor of physical education instruction at USC-- and chairman of the physical education department from around 1917 through the early 1950s. He authored several books on physical education, safety, and church subjects as well as numerous articles for educational journals. This small collection of his papers is comprised chiefly of the annual reports of USC's physical education department, a few class outlines and syllabi, accreditation reports, and miscellaneous notes and drafts of articles by La Porte.
