Biographical / Historical

In 1930, the University of Southern California celebrated its semi-centennial, having been founded in 1880. Part of the celebration included receiving certificates of congratulations and proclamations from other universities, nationally and internationally, including the University of Athens, University of Amsterdam, Harvard University, Cornell University, Hunter College (New York City), University of California at Los Angeles, University of Melbourne, the Huntington Library (San Marino, California),etc.
