Abstract
The Interfraternity Mothers' Council of the University of Southern California states as its purpose to "stimulate scholarship, to lend financial assistance, to promote character development, and to promote cooperation between the home, the fraternity, and the university."
The records in this small collection consist of meeting correspondence, membership directories, and annual reports for the years 1973 through 1974. Janet Tonkovich, the organization's president in 1994, donated the records to the University Archives and included empty folders for the years 1933 through 1972 should those records turn up and arrive at the Archives also. The collection also includes the records of the Intersorority Mother's Club, of which Janet Tonkovich was the president in 1991. It appears that around that time, the two organizations merged and is currently known as the Interfraternity Parents Council.
