Madeleine Stoner was a social worker who specialized in homelessness. She published two books on homelessness, worked as a consultant to government and community groups, and was a member of various Los Angeles area task forces and commissions on homelessness. She taught in the USC School of Social Work for close to 30 years, beginning in 1980.

Abstract

The Madeleine Stoner papers consist of notes, course materials, publications and various reports and related documents concerning Stoner's work with homeless and homelessness initiatives, as well as her career at USC. Stoner was a social worker who specialized in homelessness. She published two books on homelessness, worked as a consultant to government and community groups, and was a member of various Los Angeles area task forces and commissions on homelessness. She taught in the USC School of Social Work for close to 30 years, beginning in 1980.
