Biographical / Historical

Daniel Anthony Elliott (1897-1978) was a Southern California-based architect who designed various water-related construction projects in the greater Los Angeles area, including the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California building. Elliott was a graduate of UC Berkeley’s architecture program in 1925 and began his career with the firm of Gilbert Stanley Underwood. Elliott opened his own architectural office in 1945 and retired sometime in the mid-1960s.
