Biographical note
Thomas Story arrived in Burbank in 1880, and was a member of the original Board of Trustees selected to govern the city upon its incorporation in 1911. The Board selected him to serve as Burbank's first mayor (1911-1912). Story was a businessman who ran a hardware store on San Fernando Road.
