Lone Pine digital images and inventory
Scope and Contents
A collection of forty-eight digital image files stored on a compact disc, along with a printed inventory describing each image. The images show the town and surrounding area of Lone Pine, California, including images of the Owens Valley and Owens River. The digital images in this collection are digital surrogates of original photographs. The collection does not hold the original photographs, which are dated between 1880 and 1970. The image files are titled with numbers that correspond to the numbers and descriptions on the printed inventory. The image files' "date created" and "date modified" dates range from 2010 to 2014. Most of the image files are saved in the JPG file format, but a few of the files have PNG or BMP formats. Below is a transcription of the printed inventory.
