A collection of 14 letters from Rubén Darío to Julio Piquet spanning 1894 to 1914. Rubén Darío was a Nicaraguan poet who initiated the Spanish-American literary movement known as modernismo. Julio Piquet was the director of the Argentine newspaper La Nación beginning in 1886. The collection also contains:

Abstract
A collection of 14 letters from Rubén Darío to Julio Piquet spanning 1894 to 1914. Rubén Darío was a Nicaraguan poet who initiated the Spanish-American literary movement known as modernismo. Julio Piquet was the director of the Argentine newspaper La Nación beginning in 1886. The collection also contains: a photograph of Darío's son, Rubén Darío Sánchez (1907-1948); a letter written on mourning stationery from Francisca Sánchez del Pozo to Piquet following Darío's death in 1916; a 1916 letter to Piquet from Amado Nervo; and a copy of Rubén Darío's last will and testament created in 1914.
