Content Description
Letters, documents, and postcards addressed primarily to Louis, Abraham and Harold Robinson, U.S. residents who were attempting to aid Jewish relatives in Poland to flee persecution under the Germans in Europe. The collection includes documents describing and explaining the American immigration visa process for Jews attempting to leave Poland immediately preceding and during the German invasion; letters of introduction vouching for character; a passport; and some printed ephemera (business and visiting cards, some school records).
