Scope and Content

From the Series:

The papers in this series were created and collected by Ralph E. Rush, professor of music education at USC and conductor of the Junior High School Orchestra at ISOMATA, the Idyllwild School of Music and the Arts, from 1956-1963. The majority of these papers documents Rush's work at Idyllwild, and contain concert programs; Rush's Junior High School Orchestra, Band, and Chorus files; copies of "ISOMATAN" (the summer camp's newsletter); photographs; brochures and general information about the Foundation. Also included are non-Idyllwild records: Rush's file; on choral music; some programs from concerts where Rush was guest conductor; an accreditation report for the USC Music Education program; and some miscellaneous academic files.
