[Settlement Music School correspondence], 1956
Scope and Content
The Ellis Kohs papers consist primarily of scores (conductor's and parts) of many of Kohs' compositions, including "Amerika", his adaptation of the Franz Kafka novel. Also included is some correspondence and course materials documenting some of his teaching activities in the School from the 1950s to the 1980s, and programs of performance.
