Records documenting, in part, the founding and operations of USC's Venice Marine Station and the work of Professor Albert Ulrey, and the early USC research vessel the Anton Dohrn. USC's Catalina Station, which superseded the Foundation and the scientific investigations of the Velero IV, is also documented here.
