Scope and Contents
The types of material grouped under this series include published books and periodicals, spiral-bound course readings, library routing requests, newspaper clippings, photocopies of legal proceedings, unpublished manuscripts for journal articles, conference materials, brochures, pamphlets, travel guides, newsletters, teacher and student workbooks, meeting minutes, correspondence, and photograph albums. Boxes 21 and 22 (previously labeled RRSC-110 and -111) contain audiovisual materials, including VHS tapes and film reels with video recordings, music CDs, and audio cassette tapes. Box 24 (previously labeled RRSC-114) contains photograph albums.

Processing Information
The boxes described in this series were rehoused into acid-free boxes. The previous boxes were numbered with a prefix "RRSC" starting at RRSC-021 and ending with RRSC-121, with large gaps in the numbers in between. Other information printed on each box's former label read: "Asian American Studies Center / Reading Room - 2230 Campbell Hall UCLA."
