The Jacquelyn McCroskey papers consist of program booklets, brochures, reports, and materials on program implementation for various regional support groups for child support in Los Angeles County. Organizations documented in the collection include the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS), Los Angeles County Children's Planning Council, Los Angeles Roundtable for Children, Los Angeles City Commission for Children, Youth and Their Families, and First 5 LA.

- 1970s: Pre-professional background, MSW and post masters experience
- 1980-1984: Post DSW experiences
- 1984-1990: USC School of Social Work assistant professor
- 1991-2005: Associate professor
- 2005-present: John Milner Professor of Child Welfare
