This collection contains the research files, bibliographic records, publications, exhibit proposals, and various committee and organization materials of Chicano Movement scholar and activist Dr. Antonio Ríos-Bustamante.

Materials in this collection cover Dr. Ríos-Bustamante’s activities and studies of the earliest phases of the Chicano Movement in the 1960s as well as reflect his role in the development of Chicano/Latino public history programs, historical exhibits, research, and public policy advocacy.



Ríos-Bustamante’s museum exhibit records include: “The Latino Olympians Program”, “Immigration Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow”, and “The Social and Cultural History of the Los Angeles Mexican Community, 1781-present”.
