Scope and Contents

From the Collection:

A collection of reports, publications, notes, and correspondence from the USC Initiative to Eliminate Homelessness (also known as the USC Homelessness Initiative) documenting the issue of homelessness in Southern California. The collection documents the USC Homelessness Initiative along with related projects and organizational efforts to respond to homelessness. The collection also includes the Initiative's digital archive comprising over 1200 digital files, including text, images, presentations, audio and video recordings, and other material. All digital file and folder names are listed under this finding aid's "Digital files" series. The USC Homelessness Initiative was launched in the spring of 2016 to define the university's contributions to efforts addressing homelessness in coordination with government, non-profit, and business organizations across the Southern California region. The Initiative is led by Brenda Wiewel, DSW, LCSW, LMFT along with a steering committee of twelve USC deans, who conduct research and provide leadership on behalf of regional homelessness.
