Box 27 contains several framed certificates including a degree (in Latin) from Morehouse College (1935), and a citation from Los Angeles County honoring Kilgore's 100th birthday (in memoriam, 2013). Box 32 contains a glass trophy to Jeanetta Kilgore from the USC Black Alumni Association, a glass trophy to Dr. Kilgore from American Baptist Churches of Los Angeles (in memoriam), a small acrylic paperweight from Los Angeles Mayor Tom Bradley (1981), and a copper and brass sculpture of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Box 33 holds seven framed and unframed certificates, including two "Resolutions" from Maxine Waters (1980, 1990).
