This file contains nine folders of photographs organized by Jeannette Scott Kilgore, and many of them identified by Shirley Bell, Dr. Kilgore's administrative assistant for 33 years. Mrs. Bell passed away in 2016. Though Mrs. Bell identified approximately 60 of the 92 photographs, ALL of them ARE identified and a list of the photographs is included in Folder 18, which is the first group of these photos. Many depict Dr. Kilgore at various various events with other noted figures such as congressmen and supervisors, other pastors and clergymen (including Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.), and noted celebrities like Magic Johnson, Ossie Davis, and Muhammed Ali. Box 51 includes a color photograph of Dr. Kilgore with Reverend Madison T. Shockley II and Ray Combs.
