Course material from Stoner's students -- primarily from SoWk 533: History and Philosophy of Social Work. Also includes some writings by Stoner, such as her 1975 paper titled "Precursors of Social Security in the United States." Lastly, two group photographs featuring Stoner with others involved in the School of Social Work are included.

Biographical / Historical
Madeleine Stoner worked and taught at the USC School of Social Work from 1980 until her death in 2008. Stoner was also married to Fertig for the last five years of her life.
